Most fantasy platforms were built for football first, and hockey came along for the ride. The stats stop at goals and assists, the tools have not changed much in years, and the game we watch every night deserves more than that.
We are building a fantasy hockey platform from the ground up, with the depth of 5V5’s analytics behind it, and we are not pretending it is finished. Every season should bring real improvements to how it looks, how it feels and what it can do. Founders leagues shape what gets built first, because the people who play every night know what is missing better than we do.
Common questions
Why is year one invite-only?
Because a fantasy league that breaks in week nine is worse than no league at all. We are approving a small group of founders leagues so we can watch every draft, catch problems early and fix them fast. It is a deliberate limit, not a waitlist gimmick.
Can I move my existing league over?
Yes, and that is who this is built for. Bring your keepers, your scoring settings and your group chat. Tell us about your league when you apply and we will get the format matched before your draft.
What does it cost?
Founders leagues are free for the 2026 to 2027 season. You are helping us build the thing, so it would be strange to charge you for the privilege.
Where does the scoring data come from?
Real NHL box scores, the same feed behind the rest of 5V5. Category math is computed from raw components rather than pre-rounded numbers, so save percentage and goals against average are the real values, and every transaction is logged permanently.
Do you support keepers, auctions and weekly lineups?
All of them. Snake or auction drafts, keeper leagues with round cost or escalation, draft pick trading, and daily or weekly lineup locks. Commissioners can change most of it after the league exists.
What if something goes wrong mid season?
The commissioner panel handles it without emailing support: process waivers on demand, reverse a claim, force a roster move, adjust FAAB, or set a forfeit. Anything a commissioner does is written to the league change log so nobody has to take your word for it.
