Among checking-line forwards, Ben Jones' hitting rate stands out more than his scoring — 14.19 hits per 60 on a light shift, 8.5 minutes a game, with just 2 points in 53 games since 2021-22 split between the Wild and Golden Knights; early tracked returns suggest that checking-line role. That light role has carried into 2025-26, 8.6 minutes a game with 2 points through 26 games.
